A faded school photo from 1938. The image is spotted and creased and part of the frame is missing at the top.
The restored photo has been revitalised by adding brightness and contrast, removing all the spots and creases and cleaning up the background. The missing part of the frame has been removed altogether giving the image a new focus.

  "An interest in family history and genealogy led to an interest in old family photographs collected over the years in biscuit tins, albums and attics of my parents' house. Many of these were damaged, spotted with age and torn. These have been painstakingly restored using the latest digital photo editing software to restore colour and repair damage. They now enhance my family history files and will give my children and grandchildren a precious archive to keep for ever. Copies can easily be made so that every member of the family can have their own very special albums"

The image has been restored and blemishes removed. The brightness and contrast have been adjusted and it is shown here in black and white which enhances the detail and makes the image appear sharper.

This shows an original photo of my grandmother from about 1920. It is faded and lacking contrast and has age spots and creases.
